In summer 2022, the economic development agency of the city of Velen, together with BUSINESS UNICORNS, launched the Velener Digital Summit. This after-work event is intended to bring digitization back to the heart of Münsterland. Here, local companies meet local experts on various topics of digitization.

Planning for the first Velener Digital Summit began in spring 2022. The biggest challenge was creating a memorable brand image for the event right from the start and focusing on digitization. The aim was for the Digital Summit to become one of the most important digital events in Münsterland. The brand design and website therefore had to be modularly expandable in order to be able to grow over the years.
The project began with the design and implementation of an image including logo, fonts, colors and design language. The first version of today's login page was then implemented in Webflow. This is expanded every year with additional functions to make the event even more tangible. In addition to the registration form, image galleries, interactive maps, embedded videos and a complete contact management system with a dashboard for important metrics regarding registrations were added.
The latest version of the event page offers a variety of media features with which even highly complex topics such as artificial intelligence can be presented in a tangible and understandable way. The website also provides comprehensive reporting on current registration figures, which makes it much easier to organize and coordinate marketing activities.
