At the meeting Christmas market in Schermbeck, our team set an example at the start of the Advent season that is particularly close to our hearts. Our managing director Max Messing has Superhero team Schermbeck presented a donation of a total of 1,500 euros.
Heart instead of customer gifts
The idea for the fundraising campaign was born back in autumn. At our internal Halloween party, BUSINESS UNICORNS employees and friends were incredibly committed and collected 350 euros. Max then generously increased this amount and deliberately refrained from sending classic customer gifts at the end of the year. Instead, as a company, we wanted to provide support where help arrives immediately.
Why the superhero team
There is a good reason why the superhero team was chosen. The volunteers put their heart and soul into helping children and families in difficult situations and provide experiences that give courage and strength. We are deeply impressed by this commitment. Max, who lives in Schermbeck, sums it up: The team's work is incredibly valuable and deserves every support.
A sign of solidarity
With our donation, we not only want to strengthen the superhero team, but also send a signal to other companies in the region. We all have the opportunity to assume social responsibility and make local initiatives visible. At a time when offers of help are particularly needed, we want to do our part and encourage others to do the same.

For volunteers, a donation of this size is anything but a matter of course. It is all the more wonderful for us to recognize their important work in this way. The campaign shows what really counts during the Advent season: solidarity, humanity and the willingness to be there for one another.
